Agriculture Service Society Ltd

Agriculture Service Society Ltd is based at 55 Vivekananda Nagar in Belgharia, Kolkata. It is a quiet enough area compared to the middle of the city, which we all appreciate. The building we are in has been around for quite some time and it has that old Kolkata feel to it. You can see the history in the walls. We handle a lot of different things related to the local agriculture needs around here. It is more of a community spot than a cold office. People from the neighborhood often drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about their land or supplies. We have a lot of ledgers and old records that we keep in big metal cabinets. It is not very modern, but it works for us and we know where everything is. When the monsoon hits, the street outside can get a bit flooded, so we have to be careful with the documents. We usually have a lot of talk going on about the weather and how it is going to affect the crops. That is the main topic of conversation most days. The office is a bit cramped with all the stuff we have to store, but it makes it feel lived in. We are just a group of people trying to keep things moving for the local farmers and the society members.
