Yadav Aluminium & Glass

Our shop is out on Sector 49, right where Dadri Road meets the Barola Sarai Road. It’s a busy intersection, so we see a lot of people passing by on their way to work or home. Yadav Aluminium & Glass is mostly just a workshop filled with glass panes and long aluminum bars. We spend a lot of time with the glass cutter in hand. It’s quiet work until someone starts the saw to cut the frames. Then it gets noisy for a bit. We don’t have a big showroom. We usually just show people samples of the sections we have in stock. The floor is always covered in tiny bits of glass and metal shavings, so we have to sweep it out three or four times a day. We do a lot of windows and doors for the houses around here. It’s nice to see our work when we drive through the neighborhood. Sometimes the wind blows the dust in from Dadri Road, and we have to wipe everything down again. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We have a couple of ladders and a small van for deliveries. It’s a small operation, just us and a few helpers. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make frames and fit glass.
