Vinod Gupta Kirana Store

I am Vinod Gupta and this is my Kirana Store in Harola. We are located in the Sharma Market area of Noida Sector 5. It is a very crowded place most of the time. My shop is filled with all the usual things people need for their kitchens. I have bags of rice, pulses, and soaps stacked up high. Sometimes it is hard to find a place to stand when the new stock arrives. I have been in Sharma Market for a long time. People from Noida Sector 5 come here because they know where we are. I start the day by opening the shutters and sweeping the front. Then it is just a stream of people asking for things. I write down the accounts in a thick notebook. My family helps me out when things get too busy. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It is just a regular kirana store. The street outside can be very noisy with all the rickshaws and motorbikes. I know most of my customers by their names. We talk about the weather or the local news while I weigh their items. It is a simple life and a simple business. I don't use a computer for much. Everything is done by hand or just remembered. That is how we have always done it here in Harola. We stay open late most nights.
