Working out of D-100 in the Tala Nagri UPSIDC Industrial Area can be pretty loud sometimes. If you’ve ever walked around Section 2, you know exactly what I mean with all the machinery running. At Varun P Industries, we’ve mostly got our heads down focusing on whatever is on the assembly line that day. It isn't a glamorous place by any stretch. There’s dust from the production floor and the fans are always humming to keep the air moving. We’ve been here long enough that the guards at the gate don’t even ask for our IDs anymore. Most of the guys here have been with us since we opened up this unit. We spend a lot of time just making sure the machines are oiled and the dimensions are right on the stuff we’re putting out. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a longer break then and just sit by the main door where there’s a bit of a breeze. We handle a lot of different orders, some big and some just small bits and pieces for local vendors. There’s always a stack of paperwork on the desk that nobody wants to touch until Friday afternoon. We aren’t some big corporate setup with a receptionist and matching uniforms. Usually, you’ll find me or one of the supervisors just walking around in a stained shirt trying to figure out why a particular mold isn't sitting right. It’s just honest work in a busy industrial belt where people just want to get their products finished and shipped out on time.
