Our place is at Plot No. 9 in the Udyog Kendra Industrial Area. If you know the area, you know it’s all about manufacturing and big trucks moving in and out all day long. We work in the automotive sector, specifically dealing with clutches and parts that go into cars and bikes. The floor is usually noisy with the sound of machinery and tools. It’s not an office where you sit in silence; there’s always something being moved or tested. We wear uniforms and safety gear because that’s just what the job requires. It’s a lot of managing shifts and making sure the production line stays on schedule. We don’t have time for corporate jargon or long, drawn-out presentations. We just focus on the quality of the parts we’re making. Sometimes the weather makes the factory floor really hot, but that’s just part of industrial life. We have a canteen where we all eat together, and that’s where most of the talking happens. We’ve been in Udyog Kendra for quite a while, and we’ve seen the industrial park grow. It’s a practical environment. We don’t pretend to be something we’re not. We just make parts, check them for defects, and ship them out to the manufacturers. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do here every day at Plot No. 9.
