Out here at A-75 in Sector-10, things are usually pretty loud from early morning until late evening. The Maan Industries is tucked away in an industrial part of the sector where the trucks are always coming and going. You can hear the hum of the machines and the sound of metal being moved around pretty much all the time. The office is just a small room partitioned off from the main floor, and there’s usually a layer of dust on everything no matter how often we wipe it down. We’ve been at this address for a while, and the gate out front has a bit of a squeak that we haven't gotten around to fixing yet. Most days involve checking on orders and making sure the loaders are getting everything onto the flatbeds. It’s a lot of practical work, nothing glamorous about it. We have tea together in the late morning, usually standing around near the entrance where there’s a bit of a breeze. Sector-10 isn't the prettiest place, but it's where the work gets done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is always a bit of a headache. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how things run. The floor is concrete and scarred from years of heavy equipment being dragged across it. It’s just a honest day’s work in a busy shed.
