We are located in Phase-II at B-131, right in the middle of all the action. This place is basically filled with rows and rows of parts. If you walked in right now, you’d probably see someone climbing a ladder to find a specific bin or checking a list against a pile of metal components. We deal with spares, so it is all about knowing exactly what goes where. It gets a bit chaotic when three different trucks arrive at once, and we are trying to unload everything while also getting orders out the door. The floor is usually covered in packing tape and bits of cardboard. We don’t really have a reception area or anything like that; you just walk in and find whoever isn’t currently carrying a heavy box. It is a lot of repetitive work, labeling things and making sure the numbers match up, but it has to be done right or nothing else works. Most of us have been here long enough that we can tell what a part is just by looking at the shape of it. It isn't a quiet job, and your boots usually end up pretty worn out after a few months on the concrete. We keep the kettle going for most of the morning because it gets cold in the winter months here. It’s just a straightforward operation without any big corporate nonsense involved.
