Working out here at B-16 Site C in the Surajpur Industrial Area is definitely different from a city office. Calcom Vision Ltd. has been here for a good while. The area is full of big factories and warehouses, so there’s always the sound of heavy machinery or trucks reversing in the background. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but once you’re inside the gates, it’s just our regular daily grind. The building is solid and functional, built for work rather than looking pretty. We have a lot of space, which is lucky, though half of it is usually filled with components and packing materials. In the winter, the industrial area gets really foggy, and mornings are quite cold until the machines start running. We usually bring our own lunch because there aren't many places to eat nearby unless you want to walk a long way. The canteen area is where we all catch up on news or complain about the commute. Our desks are covered in schematics and random bits of hardware. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a dress code or anything, just whatever is comfortable for a day in the factory zone. Most of us have worked together for years, so it feels more like a small community than a company. We just show up, do what needs doing, and head home when the shift ends. It is honest work and we like the routine of it.
