Suhag Saree

Being on the Main Road in Deepak Vihar means we see a lot of cars passing by every day. Suhag Saree is just a regular shop in Sector 58. We have been in this spot for a while now. The building is older, but it stays cool enough in the shade. We mostly sell sarees, but we have some other bits and pieces too. People stop in because they are passing by on their way home. It isn't a fancy place with mirrors everywhere. We just have the stuff laid out so you can see the patterns. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always dusting the shelves. Sector 58 has changed a lot since we first opened. There are more buildings now and more people. We remember when it was much quieter. We have a small back room where we keep the extra stock. It’s a bit disorganized back there, but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly other small shops, and we all know each other. We help each other out if someone needs change or a heavy box moved. It’s a real community. We don't do much advertising at all. If someone likes what they buy, they tell their cousin or a friend. That’s how we’ve stayed open this long. We just show up, open the doors, and wait for the day to start. It's a living, and we are happy enough with it.
