You can find us over at Sector 82 in No Ida, specifically in Kendriya Vihar 2. We've got our space in B 96, Pocket 6. It’s not a big shop in a mall. It’s more of a quiet setup where we keep our stock of sarees. We spend our days sorting through fabrics and checking the embroidery. Most people who come here are from the neighborhood or heard about us through a friend. We don't do much advertising. The boxes are piled up pretty high sometimes, especially before the wedding season starts. It gets a bit cramped, but we manage. We’ve got silks, cottons, and all sorts of prints. We don't have those fancy models or big posters. We just show you the cloth and you can feel it for yourself. Some of these patterns have been around forever. We try to keep a good variety so there's something for everyone. Sometimes the tea lady comes by and we take a break. It's a simple business. We deal with suppliers and try to get decent prices so we can pass that on. If you're looking for something specific, we might have it tucked away in the back. Dealing with sarees is a lot of folding and unfolding. It keeps us busy. We like being part of the community here in No Ida. It’s a good place to be. We have been here for a few years now and know most of the people on our block.
