If you come to A-84 Sec-57, you’ll find us. Sudarshan News Channel Pvt. Ltd. is a busy place, especially when something big happens in the world and everyone is trying to get the story first. The building is always lit up, even late at night when the rest of the street is asleep. There are screens everywhere showing different feeds from all over the country. It’s a bit of a maze with all the wires and cameras and lights. People are always rushing around with papers or talking loudly on their phones. We don't have much time for sitting around. The news doesn't stop for anyone, so neither do we. Sometimes the canteen is the only place we can catch a breath for ten minutes. We’ve got reporters coming in and out, editors staring at monitors for hours, and technical staff making sure the signal doesn't drop during a broadcast. It’s not like what you see on TV where everything looks perfect and calm. Behind the scenes, it’s a lot of sweat and sometimes a bit of shouting when a deadline is close. We just try to get the facts out and show what’s happening. It’s a lot of responsibility to carry every day. We live on tea and quick snacks from the corner shop. The neighborhood in Sec-57 is mostly quiet compared to what goes on inside our walls. We’ve been doing this for a while and we’ve seen how things change. We just keep showing up.
