If you go down toward Village Sorkha in Sector 115, you’ll find us near the Pani Ki Tanki. It’s Jahidabad area, and the timber yard is pretty hard to miss because of all the wood stacked up. There is always a lot of sawdust in the air, especially when the wind picks up. We sell different kinds of wood to people building houses or making furniture. It’s a messy business, to be honest. My boots are usually covered in dirt by lunchtime. We’ve got piles of planks and logs all over the place. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time getting in because the road near the water tank is narrow. It’s just a local timber store. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just talk to the people who walk in. Most of the customers are from around Gautam Budh Nagar. They know we have what they need for their rafters or doors. It can get pretty hot out in the yard during the summer, so we take breaks under the shed. We’ve been here for years, and the neighborhood has grown up around us. It’s noisy when the saws are running, but that's just part of the day. We don't make a big fuss about things. We just load the wood, count the pieces, and move on to the next person waiting. It is just basic wood supply for the local builders.
