Our shop is tucked into Laluram Kaushik Market, specifically at Shop No. 5. We’re on the Main Road in Hoshiyarpur, right near Vrinda Garden in Sector-51. It’s a lively little area with plenty of people walking by and other small businesses nearby. We’ve named the place Home Decor, and that’s exactly what we focus on. The shop isn’t massive, so every corner is filled with something—fabric rolls, curtain rods, and various bits for the house. It can look a bit cluttered if you’re not used to it, but we know exactly where each item is kept. Most of our customers are locals who live in the apartments around Sector-51. They come in looking for a specific color of cloth or maybe some hardware for their windows. We spend a lot of time measuring things out on the counter and talking to people about what they need for their rooms. It isn’t a high-end boutique with bright lights and fancy music. It’s just a regular shop where we try to help folks find what they need without any fuss. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road out front, and we have to hurry to unload everything. My hands are usually busy with scissors or a measuring tape. We open up six days a week and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a nice way to spend the day.
