Strategic Sourcing International

You can find us over at E-178 in Sector 21. It’s a pretty quiet area compared to some of the industrial hubs, which is nice when you’re trying to focus. Strategic Sourcing International isn't a factory or a shop floor; it’s more of an office where we spend our time on computers and phones. We deal with a lot of different suppliers and try to figure out where to get the right materials for people who ask us. The room is usually filled with the sound of typing and the hum of the air conditioner. We have folders piled up on the desks and whiteboards with lists of things we need to track down. It’s not a glamorous job, just a lot of coordination and making sure everyone is on the same page. Sometimes we are dealing with people in different time zones, so the hours can get a bit strange, but we manage. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of receptionists. It’s just us in here, doing the research and making the calls. We’ve been in Sector 21 for a while and it suits us just fine. It’s a straightforward business, really. We look for things, we find them, and we make sure they get to where they’re going. It keeps us busy from Monday to Friday, and that’s about it for us. We just try to get through the list every day.
