Singhal Kirana Stores

If you find yourself in Palam Colony at House No 169, Block No RZF, near Pradhan Chowk, you’ll see Singhal Kirana Stores. We are right in the middle of all the action. It’s a typical kirana store where we sell grains, oils, and all the daily necessities for a kitchen. The shop stays quite busy because Pradhan Chowk is a major meeting point for people around here. We have sacks of rice and flour lined up near the entrance. I’ve been working here for a long time and I’ve seen the kids in the neighborhood grow up and start coming in to buy groceries for their own homes. It’s a nice feeling to be part of the community like that. The shelves are packed with pulses, sugar, and different kinds of spices that make the whole place smell really good. We don't have any fancy displays or anything like that. Everything is just placed where it’s easy to reach. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the exact block number, but we eventually get our stock sorted out. We keep a ledger for the regulars who pay at the end of the month. It’s all based on trust and knowing your neighbors well. The ceiling fan hums quite loudly during the afternoons, but we don't even notice it anymore. We just keep serving the people who live nearby, making sure they have what they need for their daily meals.
