Simmtronics Semiconductor Ltd.

Simmtronics Semiconductor Ltd. is located out in Greater Noida. The commute out here can be a bit long for some of us, but the space we have is much better than what you find in the crowded parts of the city. Our building is quite functional and houses all the different parts of what we do under one roof. Inside, it’s a bit more clinical than a regular office because of the parts we handle. We have to keep things relatively clean, so there’s a lot of sweeping and dusting involved. People are usually focused on their workstations, and it gets pretty quiet except for the sound of the air conditioning. We have a small canteen where we gather during breaks to talk about something other than work for a few minutes. The area around Greater Noida is still developing, so there are a lot of empty plots and new construction near us. It gives the place a bit of a lonely feel in the evenings, but during the day it’s quite busy. We don’t really do a lot of public-facing stuff here; it’s mostly just us doing our technical work and managing the inventory. The desks are covered in components and testing equipment. It’s a steady environment where we follow the same routine day after day. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around our facility.
