Shubham Sweets Corner

Shubham Sweets Corner is located at 14611 in the Double Storey area of Bhogal Jangpura Extension. It is a very busy place to be, especially when there is a big festival or a holiday coming up. We spend a lot of our time in the back area where the big cooking pans are kept. The smell of sugar and warm milk is always around us. It is a family-run kind of shop, so you might see different brothers or cousins behind the counter depending on the time of day you visit. Bhogal is a very tight-knit place and it feels like everyone knows everyone else. Our shop is not huge, but we make the space work for us. The floors can get a bit sticky sometimes and the fans are always running to try and keep the heat down. We do not have any fancy marketing or posters on the walls. We just put the trays out and wait for the people to come in. Sometimes the street outside gets completely blocked with rickshaws and bikes, which makes it hard for people to get to our door. We have been at 14611 for many years now. It involves a lot of lifting heavy containers and staying on our feet for the whole day. The work is tiring, but it is what we know how to do for our neighbors.
