Kaushal Chips Udyog

We are tucked away at B-98 in Sector 55. If you walk past, you’ll probably hear the machines running before you see the sign for Kaushal Chips Udyog. It’s a small udyog, or workshop, and we’ve been in this sector for quite some years. The main room is where all the slicing and frying happens. It stays pretty warm in there even when the weather outside is nice. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s mostly just the production floor and a small corner with a desk where we handle the bills. Every morning starts early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the batches started. We go through a lot of potatoes and oil every single week. The floor can get a bit slippery if we aren't careful with the cleaning, so we stay on top of that. We deliver to a lot of local shops around the area, so there is always a van being loaded up out front. It’s a noisy, busy place but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. Our staff is mostly people from nearby who have been with us since the start. We don't do anything fancy with packaging, just plain bags that keep everything fresh and ready for people to eat. It’s hard work on your feet all day, but seeing the crates go out makes it feel worth the effort. We just keep it simple.
