About Shri Bhagat Sweet – Food & Beverages in Noida
Arihant Nagar is a nice spot in Punjabi Bagh West. We are at number 5. This sweet shop has been here through many seasons now. I usually wake up when it's still dark to check on the milk delivery. If the milk isn't right, the whole batch of sweets is ruined for the day. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment here. It’s mostly big iron vats and wooden paddles. My workers have been with me for years. They know exactly how much sugar to add without even measuring it anymore. The shop gets very crowded around Diwali or Holi. Those days, we don't even have time to sit down or eat. My back usually hurts by the end of it, but it’s good to see people buying boxes for their families. On regular days, it’s much slower. We make some samosas in the evening and they usually sell out pretty fast. The glass cases always need wiping because of the fingerprints from people pointing at what they want to buy. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep everything looking perfect, but we do what we can. I try to stay behind the counter and handle the cash while the others work in the back kitchen. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in because they know we are here at number five.
