J. M. Megamart

You can find J. M. Megamart up on the first floor of Shopprix Mall in Sector 61. It’s a busy little spot, especially on the weekends when families are out shopping and the halls are crowded. We spend most of our time stocking shelves and helping people find what they’re looking for among all the aisles. The mall has its own rhythm, and we’ve become a part of it over time. It’s not always easy, especially when the crowds get thick or the air conditioning struggles in the heat, but we stay on our feet. Our team is pretty small, just a few of us who’ve been working together for a bit. We know where everything is kept, even if the store looks a bit cluttered sometimes when a shipment comes in. We don’t have any big corporate goals to talk about. We just want to make sure the lights stay on and the customers get what they need without too much fuss. Being in Sector 61 is convenient for a lot of people living nearby. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It makes it feel more like a local shop even though we are inside a mall. We don't do anything too complicated. It’s just retail. We open up in the morning, do our best to keep things tidy, and go home once the mall finally closes. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine.
