Schenck Avery Limited

Schenck Avery Limited is out at Plot No. A-5 in Sector 81, Phase-II. It is a bit of a drive to get out here since it is in the newer industrial phase. The area is still developing, so some of the roads are a bit rough, but there is more space than in the city. Our building is a large shed-style structure which is necessary for the kind of weighing and industrial equipment we handle. It can get very cold in the winter months inside the plant, and then really stuffy in the summer. We have a small office section partitioned off, but most of the action happens on the main floor. There is usually a lot of clanking and the sound of heavy things being moved around. We have a few old posters on the walls and some calendars from three years ago that nobody bothered to take down. It is a practical space. We don't really have a cleaning crew, so we just take turns sweeping up the metal shavings and dust. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get things moving. It is just a regular workplace where we focus on the machinery and making sure the scales are set right. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms, just a table where we eat our lunch and talk about the news. It is a long day but we get the orders out.
