Pret Collection

Being in Sector 63 means we are always around other businesses and small factories, which keeps the energy high. Our unit is B-37, and it’s a pretty standard building for this part of Noida. Pret Collection occupies a space that is mostly filled with clothing racks and cutting tables. We don’t have a big fancy sign out front, just the address and the work going on inside. On any given day, you’ll find us sorting through different piles of garments or trying to fix a machine that decided to stop working. The morning commute is usually the hardest part, dealing with the traffic and the dust on these roads. Once we get inside and the fans are on, it feels more like our own world. We have a small corner where we keep the records, but mostly it’s just piles of fabric everywhere you look. Sentence lengths vary because sometimes we are too busy to talk much and other times we linger over a cup of coffee near the entrance. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just a group of people making sure the clothes get made and sent out on time. The floor is often messy with lint, and the shelves are always overflowing, but we managed to find a system that works for us despite the clutter. It is just daily life here for us.
