Prema Saree Centre

Our shop is right near Aggarwal Sweets in Phool Singh Market. If you know Atta Sector 27, you know how loud it gets. People are always buying sweets next door and then they wander over to look at our sarees. It is a simple setup here. We have wooden counters and some stools for people to sit while we show them different fabrics. My uncle started Prema Saree Centre a long time ago. He liked being in the middle of the market where everything happens. We have plenty of different colors, though sometimes we run out of the popular ones faster than I’d like. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Mostly, we just talk to the regulars who have been coming here since they were young. Now they bring their own kids. It gets very warm in the summer months. We have a couple of fans that stay on all day. Sometimes the delivery boys get lost looking for Phool Singh Market because there are so many small lanes. We usually have to go out and wave them down. It’s just how things work in this part of Noida. We keep the shop open until late because that’s when most people finish their chores. It’s a quiet life in a noisy place. We like it that way. We aren't doing anything special, just selling sarees and catching up with neighbors.
