Preeti Saree & Suits

We've been at Ratan Shopping Complex for a while now. Atta Market is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out after work. It gets a bit crowded in Sector 27, but that’s just how it is here. My family started this because we knew clothes, and we just stayed. We have sarees and suits piled up on the shelves. Sometimes the lights flicker when the rain gets heavy. Customers come in looking for something for a wedding or just a regular day. We don't have fancy displays. Most people know us by word of mouth or they just walk in while shopping for groceries nearby. It’s a small space, so you have to move carefully between the stacks. We spend most of the day folding things back up after people look through them. It is hard work keeping everything tidy. The tea stall nearby brings us chai twice a day, which helps when it’s hot outside. Sometimes the traffic in Sector 27 makes it hard for deliveries to reach us on time. We just deal with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Noida. We just want to sell what we have and go home to our families at night. Every morning we open the shutters and sweep the floor before the first person walks in. It’s been the same routine for years. We aren't fancy people, we just run a shop and try to be helpful when someone asks a question.
