Maths Point

We've been over here at Maths Point in Sector 12 for a while now. Specifically, you can find us on the second floor at D 43. It is just a regular space where kids come to work on their numbers and equations. Sometimes the stairs are a bit much if you are tired but that is where we are. We see a lot of students from the neighborhood. Most of them struggle with basic algebra or geometry at first. It gets busy in the afternoons when school lets out. The room isn't fancy or anything like that. We just have tables and chairs and plenty of paper for scribbling down problems. I started this because I noticed how many kids were just guessing their way through homework. Now, we sit down and go through things line by line. It takes time. Some days are quieter than others. In Sector 12, everyone kind of knows where D 43 is if they live nearby. We don't really do big advertisements. It’s mostly just parents talking to each other at the market or after school. We keep the lights on late during exam season because that is when the panic sets in. It feels good when a student finally understands a concept they've been stuck on for weeks. That is basically what happens here every day. No big mystery to it. Just a lot of practice and checking work over and over again. If you're looking for us, just head up to the second floor.
