Maa Bhagwati General Stores

We run Maa Bhagwati General Stores out of Shop No 901 and 902 in Block D of Mangolpuri. Having two shops next to each other gives us a bit more room for stock. We keep all sorts of things that people in the block might need for their homes. From detergents to snacks and basic groceries, we try to have it all on the shelves. The area here in Mangolpuri is quite crowded, so there is always someone coming in or out. It gets a bit chaotic in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We have been here for a long time, and the shop has become a bit of a meeting spot for some of the older folks. We don't have fancy air conditioning or bright lights. It is just a basic store with tube lights and a few fans. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, but we put a bucket there and carry on. We are not a big chain, just a family-run place. We know most of our customers by their names. It is a lot of work keeping track of what is running low, but we manage. We don't do home delivery or anything like that, people just walk over. It is a busy life, but we are happy with how things are at Shops 901 and 902. We just do our best every day to keep the shelves full and the floor swept. It is home to us.
