Krishna Sweets

You can find Krishna Sweets right on the Hindon Vihar Main Road at 14. It’s a busy spot because of the traffic on the main road. We’ve been making sweets here for a long time. The kitchen stays hot most of the day because the stoves are always on. We start very early, often before the sun is up, to get everything ready for the morning. There’s a lot of stirring and watching pots. It’s hard work and it can be tiring, but we’re used to the long hours. The shop floor is simple. We have the glass cases where everything is laid out so people can see what we have today. We don’t really have a set menu that stays the same every single day. It depends on what we decided to make that morning. Most of the people who stop by are just passing through or live in Hindon Vihar. They want something quick and fresh to take home. We don’t use any fancy packaging. Just the standard boxes and bags. The main road can be noisy with all the cars and horns, but once you’re inside, it’s a bit calmer. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here at number 14. It’s our spot. We just keep doing what we know how to do. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy and connected to the neighborhood and the people around us who come in.
