Jaypee Group

This particular Jaypee Group office is located at F 404 in Alpha 2, Greater Noida. It’s an apartment setup, which makes for a different kind of working environment. Jaivardhan, who is Balvir Singh’s son, is around here often. The flat is on one of the upper floors, so we get a decent view of the sector from the balcony. It’s a bit tight with all the desks and the storage boxes, but we’ve made it work over the years. We spend a lot of time organizing documents and keeping track of the local projects. The kitchen has been turned into a small storage area for the stationary and the extra chairs. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, especially when the smell of lunch from the other flats drifts in through the vents. We don’t have any big corporate logos on the walls, just a few calendars and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes fast. The elevator in the building is a bit slow, so we usually just wait and chat while it makes its way up. It’s a simple, straightforward operation. We handle the paperwork, take the calls, and try to stay organized in the middle of all the files. It’s a quiet spot to work, away from the main road noise. The furniture isn't anything to brag about, but it’s sturdy enough for the daily load.
