J M Megamart

J M Megamart is located at D-39 in Sector 8. We aren't a giant shopping mall, just a local store where people come for their daily needs. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, from snacks and drinks to household items like soaps and cleaners. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can in the space we have. The floor is tile and shows the wear of many people walking over it every day. We spend a lot of time restocking the shelves because things go fast, especially in the evenings. You’ll usually see one of us with a box cutter, opening new shipments in the middle of the aisle while trying not to block the customers. We know a lot of the neighbors who come in regularly. They stop to chat for a minute while they pay at the counter. It’s a friendly place, but we are mostly focused on keeping the place running and the inventory updated. The lights are bright, and there's always a bit of music playing in the background from a small radio. Sometimes the billing machine acts up and we have to do things by hand for a bit, which slows things down. It’s just the way it goes in a small shop. We don't have a team of designers making the place look perfect. We just put the goods out and help people find what they are looking for.
