Indian General Store

Indian General Store is sitting at B 40, Sector 1, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a local shop. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling packed with everything from soap to big bags of flour. It gets a bit crowded in here when more than three people show up at once, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We spend a lot of our time just restocking the jars and making sure the rice bags are tied up tight so the mice don't get ideas. Sector 1 is a busy place and being at B 40 means we see a lot of the same faces every single day. We open up the shutters early in the morning, usually before the sun is really up, to get the milk crates inside. The floor is concrete and it’s a bit worn down from years of people walking in and out. We don’t have a computer system that does everything; we mostly just write things down in a notebook and use a small calculator. It can be a bit of a mess behind the counter with all the loose change and scraps of paper, but we know where everything is. It’s not a big corporate chain, just a regular store where you can get your daily necessities without having to drive all the way to a big mall.
