Hotel Golden Landmark, Bangalore

My name is Kumar Gaurav Goldi and I run things for Hotel Golden Landmark. Even though the name says Bangalore, our main office right now is in Noida, U.P. We are based out of 83 C, Sector-52, inside the Aravali Apartments. It’s a residential area, so it’s fairly quiet compared to the main roads. We use this space to handle the administration and the bookings for the hotel. It's basically a home office setup. There are stacks of folders and a couple of computers where we manage everything. Living and working in Aravali Apartments means we are close to home, which makes the long hours easier to deal with. We aren't a big corporate headquarters with glass walls. It's just a regular apartment where we do the work. We talk to guests on the phone and deal with the paperwork for the Bangalore property. Sometimes the neighbors wonder what we are doing with all the calls, but we just keep to ourselves and do our thing. Noida is a good base for us. It’s practical. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist here, just us doing the daily grind. Managing a hotel from a distance takes a lot of coordination and patience. We spend most of our time on the phone or on emails. It is a small team effort and we make mistakes sometimes but we fix them. We just try to stay organized and keep the business running from our little corner in Sector-52. That’s about it for us here.
