Hotel Fort Rajwada, Jaisalmer

Even though the name says Jaisalmer, we are actually working out of H-121 in Sector 41, Noida. It’s in the Gautam Budh Nagar district, postcode 201301. It’s a bit of a confusing thing with the name, but this is where our office base is for handling all the administrative stuff for Hotel Fort Rajwada, Jaisalmer. We don’t have any of those famous desert dunes here, just the regular paved streets of Noida. We spend our time answering phones, dealing with reservations, and making sure the back-end side of the hotel is taken care of. The office is in a residential area, so it’s mostly peaceful, apart from the occasional honking from the main road nearby. We’ve got a small team here. We share a few desks and some printers that have seen better days. It’s not a glamorous setup by any means, but it works for what we need to get through the day. We talk to guests over the phone and try to help them out with their travel plans. Most of the time, we’re just looking at computer screens and filing various papers. It’s a long way from the actual hotel building, but we keep things connected through the internet. We’ve been in this sector for a while and know the local tea stall guy across the street pretty well. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to stay organized and keep the business moving.
