We opened up Glory Home And Kitchen Appliances a while back now. It's right there in Krishna Market, Shop 13. Most people know the spot because it's so close to the Sai Mandir in Tigri. It gets quite busy around here on certain days of the week. We have been stocking all sorts of things people need for their houses. From stoves to small mixers, we try to keep what is useful. The shop isn't huge but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the boxes pile up a bit when a new shipment comes in and we have to move things around just to let people walk inside. We see a lot of neighbors coming in just to see what's new or if we can help with a part for an old appliance. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road outside, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We don't really do fancy displays. If someone needs a kettle or a new pressure cooker, they usually know where to find us. My cousin helps out sometimes when I have to go pick up stock from the bigger distributors. We spend a lot of time just talking to customers about which brand lasts longer based on what we've seen returned. It's a regular life here in the village area. We just try to keep the shelves filled with stuff that actually works. We usually close up once the market starts getting a bit quiet in the evening. It’s been a pretty steady way to make a living.
