Garg Saree Palace

We have been running this shop at B 115 Subhash Colony for quite a long time now. It’s right here in the Delhi G P O area, so it’s pretty easy to get to if you know the neighborhood. Most people around here just call us the saree shop in the colony. We deal mostly in sarees, as the name says, and we keep all sorts of patterns and materials piled up on the shelves. It’s not a big fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where we sit and show clothes to whoever walks in. Sometimes the stock gets a bit disorganized when we have a busy morning, but we manage to find what people are looking for eventually. We don't really do much advertising because most of our customers are just neighbors or people who have been coming to us for years. My family helps out with the counting and the folding. Delhi can get very hot in the summer, but the shop stays decent enough with the fans going. We keep the shop open most days unless there is some family function or a local holiday. It is a simple life running a business in Subhash Colony. We try to keep things honest and just focus on the work we have in front of us. If you are nearby and need a saree, you can just stop by. There is no pressure. We are just doing our bit here.
