Excel Greentech is based out of a small office on the first floor in Sector 2. It’s a pretty standard building, nothing that really stands out from the street. We’ve been here at A 34 for a while now. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and samples taking up room, but it works for us. We handle green technology, which means we spend a lot of time looking at environmental data and sustainable equipment. It’s a small crew here. Usually, someone is making coffee while the rest of us are arguing over a spreadsheet or a technical drawing. The walls are a bit plain, maybe we should have painted them a different color, but we never got around to it. We get some sunlight in the afternoons through the front windows. People usually call us before they show up, which is good because we are often out checking on projects. It’s not a fancy life. We wear casual clothes most days unless there’s a big meeting. We just try to provide practical solutions for folks who need them. Sometimes the printer jams and it takes three of us to figure out why. That’s just life in a small office. We don’t have a big HR department or anything; we just sort things out ourselves as they come up. It’s a decent place to spend the day. We have a small stack of old magazines in the waiting area that nobody ever reads.
