The office for Dss is located at C-297 in Sec-10. It’s a pretty standard building in a part of the city that is mostly industrial and commercial. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the routine is always the same. We get in early, check the reports from the night before, and see if there were any problems. Sec-10 can be quite hectic during the shift changes because so many people work in this sector. Our space at C-297 is mostly used for storing equipment and having quick meetings. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything. It’s just desks, some chairs, and a lot of logbooks. We spend a lot of time making sure the guards have what they need, like raincoats or heavy boots when the weather gets bad. If someone doesn't show up for work, it’s a bit of a mess to fix, but we usually figure it out. We aren't big on talking about ourselves in a flashy way. We just do the work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. Most of the guys know to just come by the side door if they need to speak with the manager. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the basics of security and making sure the sites stay covered every night.
