About Deepak Sweet Corner – Food & Beverages in Noida
If you walk into Kanchanjunga Market in Sector 53, you’ll see our shop at number 35. It’s been sitting in this corner for quite a while now. We mostly deal with traditional sweets and snacks that people like to take home for tea or when they have guests over. The glass display cases are usually full by mid-morning with all the different colors of barfis and ladoos. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit cramped when three or four people are trying to order at the same time. We have those big metal vats in the back for frying and boiling sugar syrup. The heat from those things really fills up the shop. Sometimes we run out of certain items early if there’s a festival or a wedding nearby. We just make what we can and put it out. My hands are usually sticky by the end of the shift from handling all the trays. The market itself is always noisy with people arguing over prices or scooters honking. We just stay behind the counter and keep things moving. There’s a ceiling fan that wobbles a bit, but it helps with the humidity. It’s a simple business, really. We just serve the local neighborhood and the people passing through the market looking for something sweet. We don't have a fancy website or anything. If you want something, you just come to shop 35.
