Classic Creations

Classic Creations is over at D-25 Hoisery Complex. This is in the Phase Ii Extn part of the industrial neighborhood. It is a busy place full of other small factories and workshops. We deal with hosiery items like socks and innerwear. The building at D-25 is getting a bit old now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the machines inside are what really matters to the work. We have a lot of circular knitting machines. They make a rhythmic clicking sound all day long. We work with different types of yarn. Sometimes the yarn breaks and we have to stop everything to tie it back together. It can be a bit frustrating when you are in a hurry to finish a lot. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we keep all the ledgers and books. Everything is mostly done by hand on paper. We do not use many computers in this shop. The floor is usually covered in white fluff from the cotton threads. We sweep it up every single evening but it is always back by the next morning. It is just part of working with textiles. We have a small break area where we keep a kettle for making coffee for the staff. People come in and out all day long. Deliveries usually happen in the morning. We try to keep the stacks of boxes organized so nobody trips over them. It is just a practical workspace for us.
