Chauhan Building Material

You can find us at Plot No. 2/2 in Sector 44, which is part of Village Chhalera. It is in the Gautam Budh Nagar district. We are quite close to the Amarpali Flats, so there is a big contrast between the tall apartment buildings and our yard. At Chauhan Building Material, the day starts early. There is always a lot of movement, with people coming in to check on supplies. The yard is usually full of stacks of things, and it can get pretty messy when we are busy. We have a small office on the plot where we keep the books and handle the money. It’s not a fancy office, just a place to sit and escape the sun for a bit. The fan hums all day, and there is usually a layer of dust on everything no matter how much we clean. Being near the Amarpali Flats means we see a lot of new construction happening around us. We are just a local business, run by people who live nearby and know the area. We don't use any big words or have a slick sales pitch. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we will just give them what they need. We work through the heat and the rain, just keeping the supplies moving. It is a basic, honest way to spend the day. When evening comes, we lock the gate and head home to our families.
