Biba Apparels

Working at Biba Apparels inside the Great India Place can be quite a marathon. Our unit is number 68, and we are situated right in front of Sector 18, which is always buzzing. Sector 34 A is just a stone's throw away, so we get a mix of office workers and shoppers. The mall is huge, and sometimes it feels like the air conditioning is the only thing keeping us going during the Noida summers. We spend most of our shifts folding clothes and helping people find their sizes. It isn't a glamorous job, but we like seeing the new collections when they arrive in the big plastic bags. The floors need constant mopping because of the foot traffic coming in from the main entrance. We don't really do the whole high-pressure sales thing. We just let people browse the racks at their own pace. Sometimes the music from the other shops in GIP gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our backroom is usually full of inventory that needs tagging, so there is always something to do even when the shop is quiet. We aren't some big fancy designers; we are just the folks who make sure the shop stays open and the clothes are ready for you to try on. It is just a regular retail day for us every single day we are here.
