Basant Arts

Basant Arts is tucked away in the Rattan Shopping Complex, which is part of the Dharma Market in Atta, Sector-27, Noida. If you’ve ever been to Atta, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our shop is right in the middle of all that energy. We do a lot of art-related work, mostly signs and lettering for shops. It’s a small space, so we have to be very careful about where we put things so we don't trip. There are always rolls of vinyl and cans of paint sitting around the room. We spend a lot of our time dealing with walk-in customers who need something made quickly. The market outside is always loud, with people shouting and vehicles honking, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for a long time. Our desks are usually covered in sketches and measurements. We don't have a website or a fancy way of doing things; we just take the orders and get to work. Sometimes we run out of space and have to work on the floor, especially when a big banner is being finished. It’s a bit chaotic, but we like the pace of life here in Sector-27. We usually have a hot cup of tea on the desk while we work through the afternoon rush. It’s a messy, busy life but it is what we know and we enjoy it.
