Atar Singh General Stores

If you live around Sector 22, you probably know where the J Block Road is. That’s where Atar Singh General Stores is located. It’s a basic shop, really. We stock the usual things people need for their houses, like soap, snacks, and daily items. Nothing too special, but it saves people a trip to the bigger markets. The shelves are usually full, though sometimes we run out of things if the delivery is late. It’s just how it is. We’ve been here quite some time now. Most mornings start early with setting things out on the front display. It’s a bit of a tight space inside, especially when a few people are browsing at the same time. You might have to wait a minute or two if we're busy helping someone else. We know most of the faces that walk through the door because they live right nearby. It’s nice to have that regular crowd. The shop isn't shiny or new-looking, but it does the job. We keep the lights on until late evening most days. If you're walking down J Block, you can't miss the sign. We don't do much advertising, word of mouth from the neighbors usually brings people in. It's a simple way to run a business, and we're used to the rhythm of the neighborhood by now.
