Asian Academy Of Film Television

We operate out of Sector 16 in Film City, specifically at Fc 14 / 15. This is where the Asian Academy of Film Television is based. Being in Film City means we are right in the middle of where all the action happens. The building is usually full of energy. It’s not a quiet office job kind of place. You’ll see people carrying tripods or discussing camera angles in the corridors. We’ve been here for years, and the space has definitely seen a lot of use. We don't worry about having the newest furniture. We care more about the gear and the studios. It’s a very hands-on atmosphere. If you walk through the doors, you might hear a class in one room and a film being screened in another. We try to keep things simple and honest. The staff here mostly come from a background in production, so we aren't big on corporate talk. We just want to make sure things run smoothly every day. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different departments, but we like it that way. The local tea stalls nearby are where we usually end up talking about the day's work. It’s a community of people who just enjoy the process of making television and film. We stay busy and keep our focus on the cameras and the screens.
