We’ve been set up here at B 441 in Sector 19 Noida for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly office buildings and people rushing around to get their lunch. Inside our place, it’s mostly just rows of desks and the hum of server fans. We spend most of our time looking at screens, trying to figure out why a piece of software isn't behaving or setting up new systems for people who need them. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the air conditioning in the building acts up, and we all sit there sweating while we type, which isn't great, but you get used to it. Noida can be pretty chaotic with the traffic on the main roads, so getting here in the morning is usually a bit of a challenge. We have a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s usually where most of the talk happens about work or whatever is on the news. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make sure the IT stuff we handle actually works when someone clicks a button. Most of the guys here have been around for a few years, so we know how each other works. It’s a quiet enough office during the day, just clicking and the occasional phone call. We just get on with the tasks we have for that day and head home when the sun goes down.
