Aggarwal Bikaneri Sweets is right in the heart of Atta Market in Sector 27. If you’ve ever been to Atta Market, you know it is one of the busiest places in the city. There are people everywhere and the noise from the traffic and the shoppers never really stops. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We have a long counter where we keep all the different sweets and savories we make. It stays pretty hectic from the moment we open until we pull the shutters down at night. We’ve got a team that’s been working together for a long time, so we have a system for handling the big crowds. The floor gets dirty fast with so many people coming in and out, so we’re always mopping it whenever there is a spare minute. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do here. We just make sweets and sell them to whoever is hungry in Sector 27. The kitchen is in the back and it’s always steaming. We have to keep the fans going full blast just to breathe back there. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours standing up on your feet. But being in Atta Market means there is always something happening to keep you occupied. We just focus on our work and try to keep up with the daily demand. It’s just a regular local business trying to do its part in a very busy area.
