About Agarwal Saree Emporium – Fashion & Trends in Noida
Being at 53 Gandhi Market in Gyaspur keeps us busy enough. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular door in a busy row. We have sarees mostly. Some are simple for daily wear around the house, and others are for when someone is getting married. My family has run Agarwal Saree Emporium for a while now. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a loud area, always something going on outside. Inside, we have rows of shelves. We don't use those fancy displays you see in the city malls. We just show you the fabric and you see if you like it. If the color is wrong, we look for another one. It takes time. Sometimes a family comes in and stays for two hours just to pick one or two pieces. We don't mind. It's how things are done here. The lighting isn't the brightest, so we sometimes have to take a saree to the doorway to see the real color in the sunlight. That’s just part of the routine. We get our stock from different places, trying to find what people in Gyaspur actually want to wear. It’s not a big corporate operation. Just us and the fabric. We close up when the market gets quiet in the evening. It is a lot of folding and stacking but we have been doing it this way for years and it works for us.
