Ems

We spend most of our time here at Kothi No. 8 in E-Block. Sector 12 is a busy part of Noida, but our corner stays relatively quiet most mornings. We’ve got a few desks pushed against the walls and a lot of cables running under the carpet. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. Someone usually brings in tea around eleven, and we just keep at the work. If you walk past the gate, you’ll probably see a couple of scooters parked out front. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always spinning. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels okay to us. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and looking at spreadsheets. It is just a handful of us here, trying to get things sorted for the day ahead. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all just take a break until it comes back. It isn't anything like those big glass buildings you see in the newer sectors. It is just a practical space where we handle our business without much fuss. We know the neighbors pretty well. The guy at the corner shop usually knows when we are having a long day. It’s just how things go here at Ems. We don't have a big reception area or anything. You just walk in and see us working.
