Laxminagar is always a bit crowded, and our spot at 8- J Extension is no different. It’s a busy area of Delhi with lots of small shops and people rushing around. We’ve been running Datawise Consultants from here for a bit now. Most of our day is spent looking at spreadsheets and trying to make sense of numbers for people who don't have the time to do it themselves. The office isn't very large, so we’re all pretty close together. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long. It becomes like background noise after a while. Sometimes clients come in and they're surprised we aren't in a big glass building, but Laxminagar has its own charm. We keep things simple. No long speeches or corporate talk. If someone needs help with their data, we just sit down and get to it. I usually drink about five cups of tea while working through a difficult project. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful. Delhi summers are brutal here, but we’ve got a small AC that tries its best. It’s just us, working away in our little corner of the city, trying to be useful. Nothing fancy, just honest work with data. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days we just focus on the computer screens. That's just how it goes for us.
