Joel Enterprises

The shop is at Door No 126 on VK Street in Coonoor. Since we are in the Nilgiris, the air is usually a bit cooler than down in the plains, which is nice for working. We are right near a mechanic shop, so there is usually the sound of engines revving or tools hitting the floor throughout the day. It gets a bit oily out on the street sometimes. Joel Enterprises has been sitting here for a bit, tucked away in Vawanarpat. The building is old but it holds up well against the rain we get up here in the hills. We spend our mornings moving things around and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a big team, just a few of us trying to keep things organized. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise from the garage next door to hear each other. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, just the address on the door. Most days we are just busy with the small details that keep a business like this running. When it rains, the water drips off the roof in a certain way that we’ve all gotten used to. We usually wrap things up when the light starts to fade over the mountains. It’s a simple setup on VK Street, and we just focus on the daily tasks without worrying too much about what everyone else is doing in the bigger cities.
