Kotagiri is a beautiful place to have an office, even if the name Consolidated Cybernetics sounds a bit technical. We are located at 40/15 C on Sait Lane Road. It’s a bit of a climb up here in Tamil Nadu, but the air is much better than the cities. Most of us grew up around these hills or moved here to get away from the heat. The office is pretty simple. We have our computers and some basic furniture. Nothing too flashy. Working in cybernetics from a place like this might seem odd to some people, but it works for us. Sait Lane is usually quiet except for the occasional car or some local kids running around. We spend a lot of time on our screens, but we also spend time looking out the window at the greenery. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when the weather turns bad, but we make do. It’s a small operation. We don’t have a big HR department or fancy coffee machines. We just use a kettle. We like the independence of being out here. It feels more like a home office than a corporate building. We know our neighbors and the shopkeepers down the road. It’s a good life, really. Just doing our work and enjoying the Nilgiris. It’s a steady pace of life that suits us just fine.
